In the heart of Vavatsinia village is this traditional taverna serving standard Cypriot meze. Looks-wise it is quite standard but cute with a light traditional décor, large patio and two large rooms inside.
Going on a Saturday late afternoon, being by ourselves and having everything cooked for us there and then, and also going on a busy Sunday lunch and having the same quality food says a lot about the place. Apart from the freshly cooked meze, it is also famous for their grilled meat. The wine list is short mostly with Cyprus wines.
Despite being a standard mountain taverna we recommend it and would definitely return.
