An old city with small streets, cute squares and pedestrian alleys can never have too many bars. Meli bar’s location is not the only reason we like it, but what has won us over is its cute retro ambiance and its the alternative music that varies according each night. The fact that one can sit outside and have a drink while watching the people walk by makes the place attractive to the ones who want to have a more relaxed night, while the cool and more buzzy inside space is more appropriate for the ones who are looking for a lively bar. Admittedly in the summer more and more people (us included), tend to enjoy their drink “al fresco”. A relaxed night is of course impossible on weekends as you can’t even walk by it, unless you like saying, “excuse me” every 2 seconds to squeeze through the crowd.
Nevertheless we like Meli bar anytime of the week for a tranquil drink in an old city vibe.
