One of last year’s arrivals in the modern taverna scene right at the entrance to the old city of Nicosia. The fact that we can sit outside and enjoy the old vs new city contradiction makes the location of this restaurant unique.
The food is traditional Greek/Cypriot and most of the dishes can be served as a main, or as a “meze” served in smaller plates. The burger stuffed with cheese, the chicken kontosouvli and the pork chops were quite good, with the only problem being that, since the side dishes that come with it were not mentioned, we ordered extra sides and ended up with a lot of leftovers.
The live music at night gives it a different vibe even though I prefer sitting outside and watch the people passing by.
It is one of those places where the location and the ambiance are very good, but the rest is quite average without the presence of a strong edge.
