Fantastic location in Onasagorou in the heart of the old city (parallel to Ledras), that is a street which seems to be quite upcoming lately with Diosmos & Kanela opening across it. The place looks lovely and inviting with its modern Greek décor and the menu is broad including Greek dishes with a modern touch.
Even though I heard diversified comments, I was pleasantly surprised with the food and particularly liked the cheese mousse with red pepper that looked like yoghurt but tasted like light cheese cream, the “kotsi” (slow cooked pork hock and trotter), the ox cheeks and the aubergine croquettes. The organic red wine the owner kindly recommended, “Gi ke Ouranos”, was also very good and went well with the type of food we had.
Apart from the good food and the cozy and pleasant atmosphere, the owner himself left a good impression as he is constantly searching for ways to improve, as opposed to some arrogant Cypriots who thinks everything they do is the best.
