Leventis has traditionally been a fantastic local and humble taverna with great “souvlakia” (kebab) at good prices. Unfortunately for the locals and fortunately for them over the past few years it has been discovered by the entire capital and it has shifted from a local place into an extremely popular restaurant. 15 years ago who would have thought that Leventis’ waiters would even wear a uniform! The food is still good, especially its grilled meat, even though its prices have gone up with its popularity! It is even better in the summer with its tables under the trees on the sidewalk.
It should get 3.5 stars for the outside space and 2 stars for the space inside.
