Greek islands- Patmos

A place with a mystic vibe, class and tranquility. The unrepentant repeaters are a lot, despite the difficult access to the island. One can meet media people, world famous artists and everyday bohemians. Food is fantastic including a lot of traditional and local dishes, as well as a more creative fusion cuisine.

Vegghera: it may be the best in Patmos, offering sophisticated Greek dishes in a classy and classic ambiance. Skala, tel 2247032988
Benetos: even though closed in Easter, Benetos is very famous, with fusion cuisine. An all time classic restaurant. Sapsila, tel 2247033089
Ktima Petra: excellent authentic Greek cuisine with local ingredients, in a beautiful yard, just a few steps from the beach
Leonidas: a fantastic family tavern with beautiful view, serving fish and other Greek dishes with a special “saganaki flampe”. Koumaro, tel 2247033232
Lampi: tables on the pebble beach with fresh fish cooked to perfection. Lampi, tel 2247031490

Pyrgos Bar and Astivi in Hora for late drinks and Konsolato in Skala for during the day and late afternoon.

Getting there

The most preferable way to go to Patmos is by plane to the island of Samos and then by hydroplane (50 minutes).
