New summer menu by Bastione

The place where you eat fine food and you drink exquisite cocktails, at one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the old city of Nicosia. This is Bastione and now they are introducing their new summer menu and I am very intrigued indeed.

Starters such as the Ceviche Sea Bass with radishes, grapes, chili, corn, fresh coriander and red bell pepper sauce and the Octopus baked in the oven with pink pepper, relish salad and herb oil. Main dishes such as the Chicken fillet roulade with spinach, saute vegetables and soya sesame sauce and the Black Angus Rib Eye steak with fries, for a bigger appetite.

In the new summer menu you can find specific vegetarian dishes, vegan and gluten free options for those of you choosing a certain diet. It looks as though, this is the new summer menu trend, with more restaurants defining and separating their dishes to these categories. Well, you have to follow the norms and satisfy the customer right? It is also very good to know and very convenient, as I have many proud Cypriot friends who are vegetarians and find it very difficult to eat out, having less options and I guess now they have earned their diet rights!
