I’m an anything-with-a-berry smoothie kind of person, mostly because these are the ones I tend to go for, without meaning that I don’t like anything else. You can imagine my shock when I discovered an (actually amazing) clementine smoothie recipe. Firstly because I have never seen a smoothie with a clementine before, secondly because it was so yummy! Vitamin C packed and refreshing.
And the spinach smoothie? Definitely the best way to get greens into your system.
So helloooo improved immune system.
Smoothie 1: Celementine Sunshine Smoothie
Ingredients from Lidl
- 4-5 clementines (remove skin and pips)
- 1 cup of Galpo yogurt
- tiny dash of seasalt
- 1/2 a spoon of high quality honey
- 1 spoon of turmeric for an extra exotic kick
- 1/4 cup of ice
- Optional: frozen banana
Literally blend everything together. If you have a strong blender you can keep the clementine skin. Otherwise blend it and then use a metal sieve to pour it.
Smoothie 2: The Green Machine
Ingredients from Lidl
- 2 cups of chopped kale or spinach
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 2 spoons of grated ginger
- 1 green apple, cut in chunks
- A handful of cilantro leaves (cut them off the stalk)
- Juice of one lime
- 1/4 cup of ice
You won’t believe how it tastes like an orange juice more than anything else. Refreshing, easy and nutritious (hell yeah!)
