Right when you thought fruit salad was just a fruit salad this comes along. Sweet yet sour, refreshing and of course…nutritious is indeed a great (and easy) summer dessert, snack or breakfast. Its lightly sweet and aromatic flavour makes all the difference.
I used fresh fruit from Lidl and frozen blueberries. Other ideas include: kiwis, mandarins, blackberries and/or raspberries.
Ingredients (* from Lidl)
- 1 pint fresh strawberries , diced *
- 1 pint fresh pineapple , diced *
- 1 cup frozen blueberries *
- 8-10 red grapes , diced into halves *
- 1/2 orange
- 2 ripe bananas , diced*
