They are not jewellery traders, they are not a jewellery marketplace, they are not importers. They are jewellery makers, graders, designers. There’s not a proper way to introduce Kovis Jewellery with over 2 generations of experience and expertise.
Established in 1968 by Mr Kovis, Kovis Jewellery is now run by his daughter, Mikaela. The fact that she designed her first piece of jewellery when she was 12 can only begin to describe how jewellery was not just a job, but a way of life. After studying to become a jewellery designer, diamond grader and gemologist in Italy and Belgium she returned to Cyprus to join and later on, expand her family business.
Apart from contemporary jewellery design by her, Mikaela can make custom pieces according to client’s tastes and requirements. She can value any precious stones and metals including diamonds, golden jewellery, sapphires and silver. Beautiful long earrings, golden designer pendants, diamond bracelets and stand out, large necklaces for special occasions are just a sample of what I tried on. Needless to say that she can also provide advice on what to wear with different outfits (#truestory).
What makes us Cypriot and Proud is above all, our people. our hard work, our views and our persistence to keep creating, so kudos to Mikaela and the Kovis family for doing just that!
