Summer ice lolly recipes

Having kids apart from other things it’s also a constant “struggle” to find food and snacks which are healthy but taste great. Kids only care about flavour (and mostly sweetness), they understand the concept of guilty pleasures from a very young age and always want to binge eat anything sweet (my kids at least).

I don’t know if it’s the fact that I was talking about them ice lollies for a week before making them, or that I made it sound like the most exciting ice cream ever…but it worked! Refined sugar-free, all-natural, home-made with endless flavour combos. Yum!

Notes: I got the sticks (and ingredients) from Alpha Mega and used a large ice cube tray for the ice lollies. You can use ice cube trays, ice lolly tray and anything that can go in the freezer! All you have to do is blend the ingredients separately for each flavour and freeze for 6-7 hours at least.

Flavour 1: (makes about 4 large cubes).

2-3 bananas, 1 tbs peanut butter, 1 tbs walnuts.

Flavour 2 (makes about 4 large cubes)

1 cup frozen berries, 1 cup watermelon cubes, 1 tbs honey (optional)
